The money that is raised from the Friends events really gets put to good use!.  Below are just a few of the purchases that have been made:

Maths Cupboard

In October 2008 The friends managed to fund the whole contents of the cupboard.  The items are going to be put to good use throughout the school.  Who said MATHS was boring!
 

New Carpet In the Foyer

   In November 2008 The new carpet was laid, and looks fabulous!  Mr Wright estimated that the previous carpet had been there for over 20 years! so it was definately time for a change!

New "Friendship" Bench

  This beautiful Oak bench is to mark the retirement of the wonderful Margaret Price!

 French Dictionary's

These presents are given to each leaver at the end of Year 6.  A gift that will come in very handy for the start of their high school journey.

Easter Egg Hunt

 The friends of school supply all the easter eggs for the annual egg hunt, Yum! Yum!

School Disco

 In December 2009 we purchased some disco lights to make the Juniors Disco party go with a real swing!

SmartBoards & Laptops

  In October 2009 we purchased a smartboard and laptop for the juniors classroom.  This cost £2500 but was worth every penny, and has made a huge benefit to the junior teaching.  We also purchased a second smartboard and laptop in May 2010.  This means that all the classrooms are equipped with up to date smartboards!
